The technique of skin micro-puncture is a natural and low-invasive method that stimulates the skin to self-regenerate. The microtraumas that arise from punctures are so small that instead of scarring, the skin begins to rebuild and regenerate evenly. The first micro-puncture treatment consists in stimulating natural growth factors in the skin. Then, simulated fibroblasts start producing elastin and collagen, which are responsible for skin firmness and smoothness. This simple and natural mechanism of skin reconstruction allows it to be firmed, small wrinkles and furrows to be reduced, and pores visibility significantly reduced.

The treatment using the Dermapen device is very simple. First, the patient's skin is cleaned and disinfected, then the appropriate puncture depth is selected and the treatment begins. The device is guided over the patient's skin, puncturing it evenly to cover the entire treated area. Disposable and sterile needles prick into the patient's skin, stimulating it to regenerate to a depth of 0.5 to 2.5 mm. Importantly, the needles stick vertically into the skin without breaking its structure. The whole procedure takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on the part of the body being treated.

To improve the patient's comfort after the procedure, a cooling mask is put on. The next day, the skin may be pink and tense, just like lightly sunburned. After a few days, mild exfoliation may appear.

The best effects and effectiveness of the treatment will be achieved by repeating the procedure three or four times, however, already one treatment brings visible changes on the skin.
