Waxing
Waxing is one of the most effective methods of removing unwanted hair with the help of warm wax. During the procedure, the hair shaft and the onion are removed, thanks to which the effect is much longer than after shaving. The next procedure should be performed after about 4 weeks. The big advantage of waxing is that the hair grows back thinner, lighter and softer after the treatment. Compared to other methods of surgery, it is fast and inexpensive, and the effect is long-lasting.
The treatment is not the most pleasant but not for everyone. Pain sensation depends, among others, from the pain threshold, hair thickness and density, and the menstrual cycle. With systematic depilation, the pain is less, because the bulbs weaken significantly.
Waxing methods
The strip method - it uses soft wax. The method involves applying hot wax with a temperature of 36-38oC on the hairy skin, the next stage is sticking the interlining strip and breaking it off quickly. Wax and torn hair remain on the plaster. The strip method is used for large body parts, including legs, arms and back.
Strapless method - it uses hard wax. The method involves applying heated wax at a temperature of 36-38oC on the hair. After application, wait a few seconds for the wax to solidify, then vigorously break it off. The advantage of wax is that it does not stick to the skin, but to the hair, making pain less noticeable. The strapless method is used on sensitive body parts, including armpits, intimate areas.
Hair should have a length of 0.5-1.0 cm that is about 1.5-2 weeks of growing hair, although it largely depends on individual predispositions. If the hair is very long, it should be cut, because during picking they will additionally pull. If the hair is too short then some will not be pulled out.
Recommendations before waxing:
- 3 days before the procedure you should do a peeling
- Do not sunbathe in the sun or in the solarium 3 days before the procedure
- Before the visit, do not apply creams, lotions or oils in the place where the procedure will be performed
- Hair should be 0.5-1.0 cm long
Recommendations after waxing:
- Do not sunbathe 3 days after the procedure
- You cannot swim in the pool for 3 days
- You cannot use the sauna for 3 days
- Bathing in hot water is not recommended on the day of epilation
- If you had armpit depilation on the same day, do not use antiperspirant

- Diabetes
- Phlebitis
- Varicose veins
- Inflammations
- Bacterial, fungal and viral infections
- Epilepsy
- Psoriasis
- Wounds on the skin
- Poor blood clotting
- Allergy
- Hair too short
- Skin immediately after tanning
